Terms
Plain terms for a small business. If a project needs something more specific, we put it in the proposal and the proposal wins.
Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Ovea Agent Systems LLC ("Ovea", "we"). Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
What the site is
The pages here describe services and let you get in touch, book a session, or send a project brief. Nothing on the site is an offer or a binding quote. Prices shown are indicative ranges to save you a conversation, and the price for your work is the one written in a proposal you agree to.
Paid sessions and deposits
- Sessions
- Booked and paid through Cal.com and Stripe. Times are confirmed on payment.
- Deposits
- Project work is normally split in half: half before we start, half when the work is finished and you are satisfied. A deposit paid through this site is against work already discussed and agreed with you.
- Refunds on sessions
- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead and you get a full refund. Inside 24 hours, or if you do not attend, the fee is kept — the slot was held for you and cannot be resold at that notice.
- Refunds on deposits
- If we have not started, you get it back in full. If work has started, we refund the unused portion. We would rather refund you than argue about it.
What we will and will not do
We build and set up systems, and we say plainly when something will not work. We do not promise a specific business outcome, because nobody honestly can — an AI setup that answers your phone will answer your phone, but no one can guarantee it wins you customers.
Delivery timelines are agreed in writing per project. Nothing said in a sales conversation or on this website is a commitment to a date.
Your responsibilities
- Access
- Where the work needs access to your systems, you give it and you can withdraw it. We never ask for passwords by email or through a form.
- Accuracy
- What you tell us about your business is what we build against. If it is wrong, the result will be too.
- Legality
- What you ask us to build has to be lawful where you operate. We will decline work that is not, and we will say why.
- Running costs
- Cloud models, phone numbers and similar services are billed by those providers to you. We publish expected ranges openly and take no margin on them.
Ownership
When a project is paid for, the work we build for you is yours — the configuration, the workflows, the site. We keep ownership of the generic tooling and methods we bring to every project, and of anything that existed before we met you.
The open-source components we deploy stay under their own licences. We do not resell them and we take no cut of what you spend on them.
Confidentiality
What you tell us about your business stays between us. We will not name you as a client or describe your setup publicly without asking you first.
Liability
We are a small business and we price accordingly, so our liability for any project is limited to what you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost data, lost business — beyond that amount.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Third parties
The site relies on Cloudflare, Supabase, Cal.com and Stripe. Their terms govern their part of the service, and their outages are not something we control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Work already agreed is governed by the terms in force when it was agreed.
